How does renting a boat with charter toscana work?
Send us a quote request indicating the area, dates and number of people. We'll reply within 24 hours with availability and price. Once the booking is confirmed with a deposit, you'll receive all the details for check-in at the dock.
Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?
Only for bareboat rental (without a skipper). If you choose the option with a professional skipper on board, no license is required from the crew.
What's included in the rental price?
The price includes the boat, safety equipment and basic insurance. Fuel, mooring fees at ports (other than the departure base), skipper and extras such as hostess or provisioning are generally excluded, unless otherwise stated in the quote.
How does the security deposit work?
A security deposit is requested at check-in and returned at the end of the rental if there's no damage. You can insure the deposit with a dedicated policy, for example through our partner Pantaenius.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, cancellation terms depend on the contract and how far in advance you cancel before departure. Cancelling well in advance generally means losing only the deposit paid; the closer you get to the departure date, the lower the refund.
